Introduction

The Research Department of Da‘wah Academy was established in 1987. The department involved in producing books on various aspects of Islamic Da’wah as well as in conducting research on socio-cultural, economic, educational and religious phases of society.

Under the supervision of research department the literature of Da’wah academy has been published in more than 24 languages, like; English, Urdu, Persian, Pashto and Sindhi. The published literature consists of the books by various authors including  Mufti Kifayatuallh, Maulana Idrees Kandhalvi, Maulana Taqi Usmani, Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi, Pir Karam Shah al-Azhari, Maulana Abdul Malik Kandhalvi, Allama Syed Suleman Nadvi, Maulana Syed Abul Hassan Ali Nadvi, Maulana Sayyid Abul A’la Mawdudi, Maulana Fateh Muhammad Jallundhari, Allama Syed Rashid Raza, Allama Amir Shakib Arsalan, Maulana Abdul-Ghaffar Hasan, Dr.Yusuf al-Qaradawi, Dr. Hussain Hamid Hassan, Dr. Khalid Alvi, Dr. Mahmood Ahmad Ghazi, Dr Sahibzada Sajid ur Rahman and Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh.

The department also arranges academic conferences and symposiums on different aspects of Da’wah.

Research Areas

The Department is compiling/producing Da’wah oriented literature at four levels namely, a) Basic Information about Islam; b) Islamic Way of Life; c) Islam and Other Systems; and d) Religious and Cultural History of Islam and the Muslims.

Translation Section

The books on Qur’an, Hadith, the Sirah, Da‘wah and Tableegh, economics, Social, political and jurisprudential issues are being translated in different languages. In addition to it, Translation of holy Quran in 10 languages including Urdu, English, Persian, Tajik, German, Chinese, Burmese, Azeri, Albanian and Sindhi has been published.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
