National Programs

Introduction

Training department organizes programs for the training of community leaders, professionals and Islamic workers in pursuit of the objectives of the Academy. The department also initiates and develops cooperation with institution having similar objectives within Pakistan and abroad.

Training of Imam Program

Training of Imams is one the core Programs of the Da’wah Academy. The Academy holds three Programs in a year for the training of Imams; two for the training of Imams of community mosques and one for those serving in the mosques under management of the armed forces of Pakistan. Main objective of this course is to foster unity, brotherhood, tolerance and mutual understanding among ulama of different masalik. This program contributes greatly towards instilling sectarian harmony among the participants.

Islamic Orientation Program for Teachers

Islamic Orientation courses for teachers and lectures of different disciplines are being organized by the Academy. Besides giving the teachers an Islamic orientation the Academy inspires them to increase their Islamic as well as professional knowledge to be more effective as a teacher. The Academy guides them on Islamization of knowledge and informs them on the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah today. The courses are attended by the teachers of schools and lectures of colleges and universities of Pakistan.

Islamic Orientation Program for IIU Students

This course has been designed to remind the students of their responsibilities regarding practicing Islam in all affairs of their practical life and undertaking the noble task of its propagation. This course provides the students orientation is becoming da’ee and helps them undertake this noble task. The course comprises lectures and workshops to make the trainees familiar with methodology of Da’wah, analysis of the local situations as well as challenges and difficulties usually faced by Da’wah workers. Foreign and Pakistani students of final years are selected from all the faculties of the IIUI.

Islamic Orientation Program for NGO/ Da’wah workers

Da‘wah Academy organizes short duration Islamic orientation programs at various places in Pakistan, particularly in Sindh and Chitral. The objective of the program is to create awareness of Islam among the community leaders, NGO and Da‘wah workers. This program helps in establishing permanent liaison with community leaders involved in Da‘wah and welfare activities.

Islamic Orientation Program for Medical Doctors

Medical doctors were associated with health services, enjoy a responsible and respected place in the society. They can communicate Islamic message while performing their professional duties. The Academy, through this program, provides Islamic orientation to medical doctors for the treatment of physical as well as spiritual diseases of their patients.

Islamic Orientation Program for Media Persons

Today, when Islam is dubbed as religion of violence and intolerance by the antagonists, it is inevitable to mobilize all possible resources to present the true picture of Islam as message of peace and tranquility. Media persons are key figures for dissemination of the message of Islam in today’s worlds. Media personnel, having access to the hearts and minds of masses, can play key role in this respect by drawing the attention of masses to reflect on critical themes and issues. Drawing attention of the media personnel to their vital role, the Academy provides them proper orientation. Da’wah Academy organizes Islamic orientation Programmes for the producers of Pakistan Television Corporation, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation and private channels.

Islamic Orientation Program for Officers of Armed Forces

The Da’wah Academy holds an Islamic Orientation Course for officers of the Armed Forces of Pakistan. The one month Islamic Orientation Course is normally attended by the officers of Captain to Lt. Colonel ranks of the Pak Army and officers of the equivalent ranks of the Navy and Air Force.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
